Principal's Message
Welcome to Glen Oak Elementary, where students get the very best education from highly qualified teachers and a talented and dedicated staff! It is my privilege to serve as principal at a school where teachers, staff, families, and our community come together to provide a safe, exciting, and rigorous educational experience for all children.
STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math) education enriches and challenges all of us at Glen Oak. As a staff, we explore new technologies and techniques in learning. Along with students we research, collaborate, and create lessons in the sciences and arts. Integrating science with the arts allows students to develop critical thinking skills while pursuing creative processes. We provide outdoor class experiences, cross grade-level collaboration, and school-wide STEAM days to involve all of our young Eagles in the joy of discovery!
Each year, students at Glen Oak are introduced to an enriching Language Arts education. They are given complex math curriculum that challenges them to stretch and expand their thinking. Teachers explore new ways to promote science and social studies using textbooks along with the latest in digital learning.
